Matteo Pieri is an Italian entrepreneur and a third-generation leader of Borzalino, a heritage furniture brand known for its timeless design, Tuscan artisanal excellence, and global vision. Raised within the company’s walls, Matteo blends a rare mix of precision, creativity, and deep humanistic approach to leadership shaped equally by craftsmanship, philosophy, and over 20 years of competitive basketball. Today, he co-leads the company with his mother, guiding its evolution across design, communication, and bespoke luxury interiors.

• 2009 – Started working at Borzalino, gaining hands-on experience in every department — from logistics to prototyping.
• 2006-2021 – Played professional basketball until 2014 in Italy’s third and fourth national leagues, then in regional divisions until 2021.
