Mathieu Forget

Mathieu Forget is a French movement artist, photographer, and creative director whose work sits at the intersection of sport, dance, architecture, and visual storytelling. A former competitive tennis player, he transformed athletic discipline into a globally recognized artistic language, becoming known for his signature levitation photography that captures motion, precision, and suspended reality in a single frame.

 

Top Achievements

 

  • 2021 – Exhibition in three cities across Turkey, in collaboration with the French Institute of Turkey (IFT). A creative journey across 8 different cities to produce a photographic travel portfolio of the country.

  • June 2023 – First solo exhibition in Paris, Levitation Project Paris, fully self-produced

  • 2022–2024 – Artistic collaboration and ambassadorship with the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, creating the Sport in the Air project

  • July 2024 – Olympic Flame Carrier in Versailles

  • 2024 – Collaboration with Paris museums

  • June–September 2024 – Exhibitions in Canada (Calgary and Edmonton)

  • November 2024 – Release of the self-published book Sport in the Air, selling over 4,000 copies worldwide

  • June–September 2024 – Commissioned photographic journey across eight cities in Normandy for the Département de la Seine-Maritime
