Patrick Norguet

Patrick Norguet is a French designer rooted in Paris, celebrated for his elegant yet rigorous approach to furniture, product, and spatial design. His collaborations with leading global brands, including Louis Vuitton, Lanvin, Guerlain, Christian Dior, Cassina, Offect, Pedrali, Tolix, and Ethimo, reflect his mastery at merging beauty, functionality, and craftsmanship.

  • 2000Opened his personal design office.
  • 2000 – Designed the Rainbow Chair for Cappellini, later acquired into MoMA’s permanent collection.
  • 2005 – Awarded Designer of the Year at Maison & Objet NOW. 
  • 2005 – Won the Grand Prix du Design de la Ville de Paris
  • 2005 – Won the International Design Awards from Elle Décor.
  • 2007 – Received the Designplus Award, Frankfurt, for the Mono collection, Flaminia.
  • 2009 – Earned the Janus de La Santé from Institut Français du Design.
  • 2009 – Earned Wallpaper Designer of the Year for the Plain Air purifier with TLV.
  • 2010 – Won the Designers Days Award for the Fly armchair, Offect.
  • 2011 – Awarded Red Dot Award for the Fly chair with Offect. 
  • 2011 – Awarded Wallpaper Best Domestic Design (Silvera’s Collection 01).
  • 2013 – Wallpaper Design Award for Best Domestic Design with the Jacket armchair for Tacchini.
  • 2014 – Muuuz International Award for the outdoor version of Tolix’s T14 chair.
  • 2014 – Named GQ Hommes Designer of the Year.
  • 2015 – Named Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture; 
  • 2015 – Featured in Wallpaper 200 Power Players.
  • 2016 – Red Dot “Best of the Best” Award for the Kayak chair with Alias.
  • 2017 – German Design Award for Naive Slimtech (Lea Ceramiche), and Muuuz International Award for the Fox chair (Pedrali).
  • 2018 – AZ Awards for the Pure Paper Color collection.
  • 2019 – Germain Design Award for the Gran Kobi Essentiel (Alias).
  • 2020 – Style Park selection for the DS-175 sofa (De Sede) at IMM Cologne.
